I recently solo-brunched at Farm Girl on Portobello Road in London, and I can happily say it was a Brunchtastic experience! This spot had been on my brunch list for a while, and I can finally say: I’ve been, I’ve eaten, I’ve drunk, and it was totally worth it!

Chai Latte – £5

Excellent chai latte! Nicely presented, beautifully spiced, and topped with super frothy foam, one of my favourite parts of a chai. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Avocado Toast with Poached Egg and Chilli Flakes – £11

I love a classic dish like this, though I felt it was a little lacking in flavour. That said, it was a generous portion and looked great on the plate. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vanilla Baked Apple, Pear, Rosemary & Maple Syrup Pancakes(with toasted cinnamon crunch and coconut yoghurt) – £15

Sweeter than expected, dare I say it was actually too sweet for me. The natural sweetness of the apple and pear was a bit overpowering. I think a bit more coconut yoghurt and less fruit would help balance the flavours. The pancakes themselves were lovely and fluffy. Oddly enough, I think vanilla ice cream would complement the dish even better than coconut yoghurt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The indoor and outdoor seating was very cool, with stylish decor throughout. The staff were all smiley and friendly, and the overall vibe was fun and cheerful. Service was quick and efficient, even though the place was super busy.

I’d happily recommend this delightful, humble, and fun-loving brunch spot!
